Description:
New install of J1xx SIP phone fails to upgrade FW to H.323
Problem Clarification:
Not able to configure J1XX SIP phone to H.323 mode - upgrade fails
Known issue with older versions of J1xx FW versions
Cause:
J1xx hardware versions noted in above matrix requires a "step" update to complete
Check version on back of set (see below)
Solution:
Upgrade SIP firmware from 4.0.3 to 4.0.9 and then convert to 6.8.X
