Description:
After swapping SBC hardware due to a migration we had one way audio. This was due to the MAC address change on the A1 interface but keeping the same IP address. The Media gateways will not do a GARP when the Media Gateways are on the same subnet as the A1 interface.

Problem Clarification:
One way audio on calls after SBC hardware swap out or any hardware swap out.
Cause:
The cause is due to the G4x0 media gateway not performing a GARP to renew the MAC address tied to the A1 interface. If the media gateway is on a different subnet this should not be a problem. The router in between the gear will handle the GARP.
Solution:
Any media gateway on the same subnet as the SBC A1 interface should have the arp cleared AFTER removing the A1 interface from the network and BEFORE putting the new hardware on the network.
GATEWAY COMMANDS:
"clear arp"
"copy run start"
