Release Management
The Release Management Dashboard provides customers with a centralized view of software versions, firmware, and platform configurations across their Avaya infrastructure. It helps ensure all systems are up-to-date, secure, and aligned with internal compliance policies by tracking application versions, patch status, and hardware vintages. This visibility supports effective change management, reduces risk, and simplifies audits.
Release Management Dashboard
1. Communication Manager Releases
This section displays software version details and patch information for Avaya Communication Manager servers. It helps ensure core call control systems are running on approved and supported builds, enabling proactive version management.
2. Survivable Core Server Releases
This panel shows release details for backup or disaster recovery core systems. It adds value by confirming failover environments are properly aligned with production systems to maintain business continuity.
3. Survivable Remote Server Releases
This section provides release tracking for remote servers supporting branch survivability. It supports consistency across decentralized locations and allows IT to confirm all remote nodes are compliant and patched.
4. Session Manager Releases
This panel highlights software and patch versions for session management components. It ensures voice routing and SIP services are kept current and secure, minimizing compatibility issues.
5. Session Border Controller Releases
Displays release data for session border controllers, which are key to managing external SIP traffic. Monitoring these ensures that border security and interoperability remain intact with the latest software standards.
6. System Manager Releases
This section tracks versioning for the centralized management platform. It provides oversight to verify that orchestration tools are properly updated, helping streamline the management of all Avaya components.
7. Application Enablement Services (AES) Releases
This panel focuses on software details for AES servers, which integrate with third-party applications. It enables teams to maintain secure and reliable integrations between communications systems and business tools.
8. Media Gateway Releases
This section lists release data for physical media gateways, including slot, type, and hardware vintage. It adds visibility into voice hardware components and supports lifecycle planning and upgrade decisions.
9. Media Gateway Firmware (Bar Chart)
This chart breaks down firmware versions deployed across gateway hardware. It helps identify outdated or inconsistent firmware versions, supporting standardization and security across hardware assets.
10. Media Gateway Hardware Distribution (Donut Chart)
Visualizes the types of media gateway modules deployed across the network. This helps teams understand their hardware landscape and plan for parts replacement, support needs, or upgrades.
11. Media Gateway Hardware Overview (Pie Chart)
Displays an overall summary of hardware module types by function (e.g., analog, digital, mainboard). It offers a quick view of deployment patterns and supports forecasting for expansion or modernization.
