Asset Connectivity
This dashboard gives a real-time snapshot of the operational status of all monitored telecom and IT assets. It helps customers quickly determine if systems are online, experiencing downtime, or encountering timeouts. This type of visibility is essential for maintaining service availability and troubleshooting outages before they escalate.
By centralizing reachability metrics, customers can monitor asset health at scale and ensure that key components like gateways, controllers, and core managers remain consistently accessible.
1. Total Connectivity Statistics – Total Assets
This KPI tile displays the total number of unique assets being monitored. It sets the scope of the monitoring effort and helps users understand the scale of their infrastructure.
2. Up Connectivity Statistics – Reachable
This panel shows how many of the monitored assets are currently reachable. It confirms 100% system availability and offers immediate assurance that there are no current disruptions.
3. Down Connectivity Statistics – Non-Reachable
This tile displays how many assets are actively unreachable, helping users identify outages or network segmentation issues the moment they occur.
4. Timeout Connectivity Statistics – Timeout
This section indicates how many assets have experienced timeouts. Tracking timeouts separately from hard failures provides additional diagnostic insight into latency or intermittent communication issues.
5. Asset Connectivity (Table Panel)
This detailed table provides per-asset connectivity insights, including customer name, asset hostname, product type (e.g., Avaya Communication Manager, Media Gateway), and current connection status (e.g., “up”).
