License Entitlements
This dashboard provides a centralized view of software license allocations, status, and expiration timelines across communication platforms and supporting applications. It is designed to give administrators and operations teams a clear inventory of licensed features, active entitlements, and upcoming renewals in a single, structured interface.
By consolidating total license counts, validity status, expiration windows, host distribution, and detailed entitlement records, the dashboard supports proactive license governance, renewal planning, and operational continuity. It ensures that licensed system features remain compliant, available, and aligned with organizational usage requirements while reducing the risk of unexpected service limitations due to expired or mismanaged entitlements.
License Entitlements Dashboard
1. Total Licenses
This KPI tile displays the total number of licenses provisioned across the environment. It serves as the baseline inventory metric for understanding overall entitlement scope and system capacity tied to licensed features.
2. Active Licenses
This panel highlights the number of currently valid (active) licenses. It provides a quick operational snapshot of how many entitlements are usable and supports ongoing system availability and feature access monitoring.
3. Expired Licenses
This KPI identifies the number of licenses that have expired. Monitoring expired licenses is critical for preventing feature degradation, compliance gaps, or unexpected service limitations due to inactive entitlements.
4. License Days Left
This donut chart categorizes licenses based on remaining validity periods (e.g., Over 120 days, Less than 30 days, Expired, Perpetual). It enables teams to quickly assess renewal urgency and prioritize licenses approaching expiration before they impact operations.
5. License Count (Valid vs Expired)
This bar chart provides a comparative view of license status distribution, showing how many licenses are valid versus expired. It helps stakeholders quickly evaluate overall license health and identify whether renewal action is required.
6. License Host
This visualization displays license distribution by host or license server. It helps administrators understand where entitlements are allocated and supports infrastructure-level license tracking, especially in multi-system environments.
7. License Expiration (Days Left)
This chart tracks remaining days left for licensed assets (e.g., FQDN or license host). It provides forward-looking visibility into expiration timelines, allowing teams to plan renewals strategically rather than reactively.
8. License Entitlements (Detailed Table)
This table serves as the authoritative inventory of all license records and includes key metadata such as:
- Status (Valid/Expired)
- Days Left and expiration buckets
- Customer and asset
- IP address
- Expiration date
- Product and feature entitlement
This panel supports detailed auditing, entitlement verification, and operational validation of licensed features across systems.
