Description:
LSP does not come back up after customer completed scheduled power interruption
Problem Clarification
When power was restored after a scheduled maintenance power outage, neither the co-resident Utility Server nor the LSP came back up. Customer unseated and reseated the S8300 in V1 but the condition did not change. Attempts to ssh to the AVP were unsuccessful as ssh access is not enabled by default and must be enabled via the Utility Server:
Access Utility Server via ssh. Issue following command
/opt/avaya/common_services/AVP_SSH enable
In our case, the Utility Server was inaccessible.
Attempts to restart the VMs via System Manager SDM were unsuccessful as well. The power on or off options could not be clicked.

Solution
It appears as though the LSP and Utility Server attempted to start before the AVP was fully functional / Another possible cause is an administrator disables the auto-restart to avoid multiple power events occurring during scheduled maintenance.
We were able to browse the AVP IP VMware ESXi interface and login with the AVP credentials where I was able to turn on both the Utility Server and the LSP.
Once we verify the machine will boot from the ESXi client, we ill need to power down the machine and set the boot delay on VMs to 30000 milliseconds by clicking Edit to edit settings and select VM Options and then click the down arrow beside Boot Options:
