Description:
This article will show you the command needed when you encounter an error trying to run the Avaya traceSM tool when there are already one or more copies of the command running.
cust@avSM ~]$ traceSM
trace is already running. Only one instance is allowed.
Steps:
Login to the Avaya Aura Session Manager using an SSH client to get to a Linux prompt. Once logged into the Session Manager run the following command.
cust@avSM ~]$ traceSM -m -k
cust@avSM ~]$
After running the command you will be able to run the traceSM command and start up a trace. Please note that by doing this you will be stopping any currently running traceSM processes on the server.
